A new funky playmate every little boy or girl will love. I don’t have as much time for crochet as I used to but still this crochet monkey only took me just over a week. That’s pretty good right? Max is serving the monkey tea and he’s even allowed to play with his cars, just sweet! |
You'll need
- 3.5 mm crochet hook
- Patons Classic Wool in 4 colours of your choice (I used Patons Fab DK because it’s cheaper and can be washed)
- Short black yarn for nostrils & eyes.
- Toy stuffing (can be taken from a pillow)
Quick Summary
This project begins with the legs, which are joined to continue with the body. The head is part of the body shape and is just rounded off and closed. Arms and tail are created in the same way as the legs. Ears, nose and hat are sewed on last. It’s really simple and by all means, go crazy with your own colours!
Instructions
I really couldn’t be bothered to re-type the instructions, so please just download the PDF from the Patons website. It’s free but you might have to register. Here’s the link: http://www.patonsyarns.com/data/pattern/pdf/Patons_ClassicWool500875_07b_cr_monkey.en_US.pdf
There are also a few other ideas I liked.

About this blog
This blog is about family cooking. It's important to get together for family meals. Here I'm posting healthy family recipes that kids and adults will love and make cooking for the family more fun. All my family recipes are well balanced and healthy family recipes but they can be tweaked for fussy eaters or spiced up for a more sophisticated adult palate. In addition to the healthy family recipes, I'm publishing some of my knitting and crochet patterns for toddler toys and accessories.
